Default My son made his first cards!

My soon to be 10 year old son has never been interested in stamping. But yesterday, he wanted to make his own cards for Grammy's birthday and Father's Day! I was so excited! What do you think?

Thanks for your comments, everyone. We just got back from our family Father's Day/June Birthdays party. My son's cards were a hit with Grammy, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa, and Step-Dad. Great-Grammy was most impressed. My son has cerebral palsy, so whenever he does something new that she wasn't expecting, she gets all emotional! She's awesome!

those are wonderful cards! I love that my DS likes to stamp with me and him being 4. I couldn't get him to make his daddy a card for today though but he said he'd do it tomorrow! LOL. I hope he stays a little interested in my hobby as he gets older. He even knows to have the stampin' scrub to keep them clean; he's totally cute about it if I forget to give it to him!

Awesome job. As a Nana of 5 I can tell you nothing touches your heart like something hand made from a precious grandchild.

The cards were very cute!!!! He should be proud! Who knows, maybe the more you compliment him on the cards the more he will take an interest in stamping!! I too have a son who has cerebral palsy but never took any interest in stamping. :(

GREAT JOB!!!!!!
