Your lunch tin is great -- thanks for posting. I really need to do the one I got in early September. It's been sitting up there on the shelf totally "nekid". After seeing yours, I think I have really need to take the plunge and follow YOUR example.

Very nice! I have a tin that has been sitting by my stamping desk for a few weeks now. I bought the acrylic templates for the tin at theCardLadies.com. The templates are for around the lock also the handles. Last week I played around with typing paper and the templates just to see how it would work. I'm just so dang nervous about screwing it up. LOL (I don't know why though.. I bought the tin at Michael's with a 40% off coupon, so it only cost about $4.)

Your tin turned out great!! I liked all of it but especially how nice the top of the tin looks too. I like the color choices you used too. I seem to be "pattern matching" challenged. I think they should sell patterned paper similar to how the Geranimals clothing line was for kids. Just match up the animal and the clothes will match too. LOL

Thanks Guys!

KIMBERLY.... one great way to coordinate the papers is to use the Simply Scrappin kits that SU Sells.... another way would be to use one of the double sided scrapbooking papers.... use two sides of the piece of paper.

I did just buy some paper from Hobby Lobby that has a pattern on one side and a solid color on the other. Actually, I bought two of each of the patterned stuff that I really liked in case I screwed up. LOL

I may just tackle that tin today. ;)

What a great tin, Nancy!! You're inspiring me to want to decorate a few tins that have been sitting on my stamping table for months. :-)

I joined the Fan Club and just uploaded my lunch tin. The front turned out pretty good. I had to put a second ribbon towards the bottom of the tin because you could really see where the paper overlapped. (I didn't cut the paper so it would meet up in the middle.) So.. nothing fancy, but it's my favorite color! (Or one of my favorites.) LOL

I like your tin, it's really pretty. I have two to decorate and fill with cards to give as Christmas gifts. I was going to use alcohol inks to sponge on because I wasn't sure how to adhere the papers. Now I may use both so I don't have to cover the top with papers. Thanks for the inspiration!
