Hi - I'm looking for a stamp with a music staff and notes that can go all the way across an A-2 card - preferably 5.5, but if not, 4.25. I found a few that are 4" across or smaller, but I'd like to go edge to edge.
I'd rather it have chords, not single notes, and 2-3 lines of music, but if it covered the card that would be okay. I found a card on line that had such a stamp, but can't find the website or blog now, of course, though I thought I bookmarked it. Boo on me.
i just found one by Impression Obsession, but the music looks handwritten - notes are like dashes rather than what you'd see in sheet music. At least if nothing else pops up I can get it.
Hero Arts also has one with more of a vintage, faded look, so another option. I was just hoping for crisp. (Not picky or anything, huh.)
Ebay has several background stamps and other miscellaneous images - one of them might work for you: Music Note Rubber Stamp
An image search brought up a lot of options, as well. Hero Arts has a music background stamp, for example. Here's where I was looking: Music Rubber Stamps
Maybe one or the other of these options will have something you can use... Good luck!
Thank you so much, Sue! Great minds - Etsy is the first place I tried. Ebay was second. Hero Arts may be where I end up. Their background stamp is the right size - it just is made to look faded and old in parts, and i was hoping for a new musical score look. But maybe I'll redesign the card in my head and go for more vintage.
What a great idea! And I only really want 2-3 lines, at least for this card. I have a bunch of bird pages from old books, but didn't think of doing the same for musical scores. Thank you.
And I *think* I found the stamp that I saw a while back. It may be a retired roller stamp from Stampin' Up. I've never seen those in person.
It turns out the stamp I'm looking for is a Stampin' Up wheel stamp called Music Notes. (I'm also looking for their Timber wheel. I hate it a little bit when one search gives birth to a second one!)
The other stamps don't quite do it so real sheet music might sub.)
And thank you to everyone who helped me. A Stampin' Up demo sold me her Music Notes stamp - I'll just un-wheel it and use a block. And I still will be getting a larger background stamp.
Thanks for letting us know what you ended up with! So many times a thread fizzles and we're left wondering... I'm also glad that you got EXACTLY what you were looking for! I have the Music Notes wheel and an older one called Jazz that I love! Let the music play on...
Sue, I saw Jazz - it's so cool! - like good Jazz - and is more readily available than Music Notes.
Is it okay to give a shout-out to Dawn Thomas, who is the assistant to Dawn Olchefske of DOStamping? Yes, two Dawns. : ) Dawn T. emailed their demos to see if anyone had/would sell Music Notes and Timber, which I stumbled across when I when searching for Music Notes.

I agree, Sue. I love when people let us know the happy ending to the story!
