I think these stamps are pretty cool. With what everyone is saying about the price, I won't be getting too many of these. Probably our initial, which I wish was a little more exciting. To me, "C" just isn't that exciting. Not like a "S" or "K" or "M". LOL

Not to mention Carolyn and Clemens, both of my names. I should never have read this thread. I opened it because I agreed with the OP, but now I've got to order the &*$# things.
I'm really starting to lean towards buying at least an L. But what am I gonna do with it besides Love and Linda? Actually, I keep seeing it turned into a frame -- stamped right side up first and then turned over like a 7. Anyways, please give me your Lovely ideas.
I won't be buying these. I am a scrapper and I am NOT a fan of handcut letters, but anthing this large I could easily cut with scissors. And then use my other stamps to decorate the letter. A little glitter, a little diamond glaze, and I've saved myself 17 dollars.
Actually I got a 3 inch alpha from club scrap, upper, lower, numbers, for less than 100 dollars. And 3 inches is PLENTY high for me. But thanks to all the kind ladies for giving me ideas how to use my 3 inch alpha more.

I just went to the store in my DHs car and he has a picture of Camden devouring a Cupcake-I love the picture and think
Cam vs. the Cupcake will be an awesome title (Camden loves cupckaes-specifically the tops only! LOL)
AND don't forget:
C is for CHOCOLATE! :p

cooties ( no kidding... I really have to do a "cootie" page for my son... long story LOL!)
I love the scrapbook pages with these letters, but I'm not sure I will buy them because of the cost. I might buy an F because I figured I could make framed scrapbook pages that say either friends or family depending on who I give them to.

I am doing a shadow box for my daughter Emma's room with the letter E and flowers in her colors. (She's 18 months) "E" I am also doing different words on her wall with 'her' letter. (We call it her letter "E") Emma, Exciting, Elegant, Energetic, Eloquent, Encouraging.....etc. We're remodeling a family farmhouse that was built in 1868. Her walls are going to be green grass on the bottom, white on the upper part and smiling colorful flowers, butterflies, dragonflies and words. We're using the retired Springtime Fun set. Her bedding matches perfectly with little smiling flowers in bright pinks, yellows, greens etc. I can't wait to finish it!!!
Which monogram letters are u ordering from SU in the spring catty?
I love those huge letters and someone said they are as tall as a regular size card but i can't decide which letter to order. My initial S"? They are so pricey so i want to make sure i order something I will use and I would like to myself some monogram cards .
not sure if I can even afford to get them since there is way too much I already want.but here are some more ideas for you scrapbookers just in case others want some ideas.you need to really think along the terms of a scrapbooker for this alphabet set.names of kids like first initials unless they have small names.pets names.saying that kind of thing.
the list can go on and on whatever you plan on using it for.But It is a lot of money and would take up a lot of space.so I may just try to find some stencils I like this size.

It's someone who buys stamps they didn't normally like at first, only to see it in Split Coast Stampers gallery in a different perspective.
I liked the stamps the minute I saw them, but the price stopped me. Then I read about the faux monograms--of course, you need a computer and you have to cut them out, but to me they look the same for a lot less. Plus, if you want variety, you can use different fonts. I made a set of notecards for my mother with her first initial, all of them in different fonts but the same color. Now I'm working on some note cards for friends with their first initial in gingham. My advice is to try faux first.

I just printed the letters backwards on the back of a sheet of gingham print paper--of course, I wasted a sheet getting the paper in the printer right, but it still is cheaper than the stamps.
None of them....the only thing I'd use them for is scrapbooking and for the price they are (I could have another background stamp!) I'd use a stencil and cut a letter out. JMHO
