Mistletoe stamp help needed!!

Hello, friends!

I'm sitting down to proto-type my Christmas Card. (Actually, I'm trying to see if there is anything I can do to make these babies while waiting for my Marvy Giga Scalloped Oval punch that is soooo on back order!)

I have this adorable little A Muse Mistletoe stamp (http://www.amuseartstamps.com/produc...Number=7-2095B)

Love it love it love it.

However, in prototyping tonight, I have discovered that when I use black ink, that it stamps all black (save the bow.) I had it in my head that it was an outline stamp, and that I could color in.

I don't want it to be all black, though I do not relish the thought of inking it with markers OR masking parts of it.

I'm ultimately going to make about 75 cards, and want a stream line process.

Any ideas?? (Think steamline!) Help!!

How about inking up a baby wipe with reinkers in the colors you want to use. Guesstimate the placement of the colors.

I don't know about this method... can you share more?

My idea would be to stamp it all in green. Then add a real ribbon for the bow in the color you want.

I would use markers. It's small and wouldn't take but a few seconds to color.

I'll bump it for you! I wasn't able to get the picture to come of the mistletoe stamp you are talking about, so I'm just tossing out a couple of ideas, not knowing if they would work with this stamp.

If the mistletoe has berries, use tiny white pom poms (the 1/8" size that you get at the craft store) on the berry part and stamp the whole thing in green, as suggested above. Or you could use souffle pens or glaze pens to give the berries dimension and color, again with the main image being stamped in green. Even if these aren't appropriate for the stamp involved, it might jog your creative juices to come up with a 3d solution to your problem!

If you use Cut n' Dry http://www.rangerink.com/product_cutndryfoam.html , you can create a custom ink pad for production stamping. I think this would work for that mistletoe stamp. Lovely stamp!
Could you use Versamark and chalk pastels and do the 'poppin' pastels' technique?

Or what about stamping in green...then you go back and use a Versamark marker to mark the white berries and emboss with white embossing powder.

Just a couple of ideas.
