I know.....but it is closer! Oh, registration is closed anyway!
Don't pout Jenn..... I was just checking into it. You know it's an addiction..... I can't help myself. You KNOW I'd be there with my texans if I could. When is that again?
Good grief Jenn - why do you still try to drink your Dr P when you're on SCS?!
Maybe Daven should put some kind of warning on the home page like - "It is in your best interest and that of whoever owns the computer your using, to finish whatever you might be eating or drinking before proceeding past this point!"
Actually, that might not be enough for some people so it will need to be an intro to the home page. The statement could come up and then the letters could become drops of whatever that fly across the screen to land on a monitor and keyboard then you'll see a face with stuff oozing and dripping out of their nose and mouth for just a quick flash before the home page comes up!
I'm sorry I took over your pity party thread Jenn! When are you going to learn to put down the drink before you read posts on here? I stopped having my morning cup of Java at the puter.
Okay..... cancellations, and a pick-up from the Seattle airport. Sharing a room with my dorky friend (and lunch), plus an appearance from DARTH? Shoot, you get me a cancellation and I'm there babes!!! Sorry Jenn, I can't help myself.
But, you and Beate are coming out here next summer for a stay at the lake.

Hey got an idea for Vancouver ... how about I drop by for all you SCSers in OR & WA with my bus? That way it would be one big party all the way. You won't mind a taking big yellow bus, will ya? Do you thing the school will miss the kids that Thursday & Friday?

Rita - Grand theft school bus would be bad enough but add kidnapping times the number of the kids on the bus that 's too much - even for us! So, you'll have to leave Wednesday after you've driven the kids home from school

Yippee! I'm gonna have to find you one. And Darth, baby....you KNOW we love you over here on the West Coast! Woohoo!!!
CAMI...CAMI...CAMI...

Okay....drop the kids, we'll paint (mauve mist) the bus and stamp it too, then we'll be on our way! Maybe Darth can devert the authorities or make it a top secret mission so that we don't arrive with a police escort. That might freak Shelli out a little.
OMG --- I just re-read this entire thread!! I'm dying over here in my little part of Ohio. This is so funny! You guys are cracking me up. How cool that Cami might go to Vancouver and get to meet Debbi, Lisa & Pam. And WOW -- possibly Darth too!! Cami's pink posse is definately growing.
I'm going to the Friday Columbus regional - but I swear there isn't another SCS'r going to be there (except my demo - and I've already met her).
Blue is more my color as far as what I wear, but yellow is my favorite color. Did I tell you that story?...
Some time when I was in high school we were at the table and for some reason (can't remember now) the topic of yellow being my favorite color came up and my brother told me "That's because it was your assigned color." I had no idea what he was talking about! I didn't remember that when we were kids, the four of us had our own colors. My sister Lorie was red - she used the red tupperware cup, had a red toothbrush, red laundry basket, etc. My sister Mickie was green. My brother was - you guessed it - blue, and I was yellow. When my younger sister came along, she got whatever other color toothbrush, etc., that my mom could find and there was no consistency from one thing to the next. Poor kid- she just didn't have an identity at all - between the color thing and being Lorie and/or Mickie and/or Greg and/or Pam's little sister. A couple of teachers even called her by the wrong name.
What was this topic about?! I went so far down my tangent I can't remember anymore!
** I've decided to use luv as a substitute for "love (in a SKW)" to save some wear and tear on my wrists.

Pam - this is why they call you the "assistant director", right? Besides, y'all don't have enough kids.
Been thinkin' 'bout the route. So I'll just submit it to you for your approval.
Think I'll head down Montana way first and get the border crossing thing done with. Which crossing is the least used? And since I'm heading down south I may pick up whoever's there that wants to hitch a ride. Then it's "westward ho the wagons" over the Rockies and pick up some potato people. Then I'll hit Oregon, use the old Oregon trail. I'll head north up the coast, zigzaging so I don't miss anyone and, Julie HRR, is the ferry big enough to take on a busload of SCSers? Pam, do I stop by for you first before heading to Whidbey I? I guess Lisa Lisa and the Bellingham crowd will be the last to pick up.
Ok, assistant director, is this alright? Oh, yah, last but most importantly, how much time do you think that will take? This is an executive decision so I'll leave it to you.
This has sure been a busy thread today!!!
Jenn (since this thread was originally about YOU) hope you are having a good day!!!!
Debbi....I sure wish I was a demo so I could come meet you.....and some of the other infamous SCS'ers!
Ahh...hubby just came in the door....maybe I should go make supper, eh?

Okay, well blue it is....or yellow. As long as I can stamp some mauve mist flowers and butterflies on the side! Shoot, I'd ride anything to get there... well, just about anything!
Rita - I just need a starting point to plug into the AAA TripTik program so I can get some details for the route plus that will give me a better idea of the distance and time involved.
Once again, I urge you to leave the kids behind! The pursuit will be much more intense if kids are involved thus decreasing the chances of completing the mission successfully.

Pam OK, OK. I'll leave those brats at home. Don't have a bathroom on the schoolbus, so I don't think I could stand all "I gotta go" business.
AND NOBODY, BUT NOBODY CAN CHANGE THE COLOUR OF MY PRETTY YELLOW SCHOOLBUS.
However, after having some food, which helps me think better especially if it's chocolate, I think maybe I'll just swipe one of their coaches instead of the schoolbus. Grand theft auto is grand theft auto. Better go out in style.
You should get a show of hands for all those who want to "Take the Midnight Bus to Vancouver".
Oh, just had a thought. What if people like Navywyf in Florida want to come? Guess I could obtain an AmTrack unit + cars. Darth, where are they headquartered? Better yet, where is their most under-surveilled (is there such a word?) yard? Oh, you'd better get the most likely time I could pull it off. Hey, we're turning this song into "Take that Night Train to 'Couver".
As far as starting point goes, just start with the FIRST Montatan I'd be picking up. I'll then "backwards" schedule in all the Canadians I'll be bringing with me as I think I'm more familiar with this area than you are.
Oh Darth, one more thing, can you obtain that super secret cloaking devise that's being tested in NWT? I don't want to have to stop in at all the weigh-scales. That would be too time consuming.
Ok Assistant Madame Director, all the details are left in your capable hands.

Just re-read my post.
Assistant Madame Director, you know that when all these SCSer read this, they all are going to be putting up their hands. We had better get that train and a whole bunch of cars. Maybe we should just hijack the conference and put it all aboard the train and travel around N. Amer. for a week or so. That way everyone will have a chance to travel AND stamp. Yah, PARTY TIME!!
Yes, I would definitely like to be picked up here in FL! Count me in. My preference is for a Purple (Light Purple, kinda between Almost Amethyst and Lavender Lace) Cadddy, or even better a Purple Limo. If it has "ImaStampin" on the license plate, even better! I like Caffeine Free Coke (I'm not pretentious, I really like it!) and tons of regular coffee with even more cream, so you can throw out all the mini bar stuff. I'd like to make a pit stop in WI so we can pick up Lana, is that okay? I've got a few others I'd like to stop and pick up, so I'll start making my list now! Thank you SO much!!
Debbi

I must correct a miscommunication before it get out of hand! The title Madame Director actually belongs to Lisa Lisa as she is in charge of the SCS Vancouver event. I am merely a lowly assistant coordinating transportation.
Rita - I certainly appreciate your willingness to stop by and pick me up but the truth of the matter is I have to limit my time with groups of women, cat owners, and smokers due to sinus/allergy issues. Since it's not likely that everyone would forgo their floral or musky scented perfumes, lotions, shampoos, etc., and/or cigarettes - both fresh and stale cigarette odors make my eyes red & itchy and my sinuses over produce - it's best that I limit my exposure so that I can actually attend the regional itself for which I'll be poping allergy/sinus meds. So, it's really is best that I travel in my own vehicle :( and most likely I'll have to room by myself, too.
In case anyone is wondering - yes, there are skin care products that I can tolerate - unscented baby powder and fruity smells - but even these have to be low in concentration.

Assistant Madame Director:
Thank you very much for your assistance with the use of appropriate titles for this company.
I am newbie-ish in this company, and I do not wish to offend anyone. I sincerely appologise for having committed the offence of using incorrect titles. Please note that I have corrected all my previous posts. If you can be of further assistance to me, please let me know.
Well I for one am not fussy how y'all get here. Just get here!
Trains, planes, automobiles.....matters not.
And non-demos can shop for supplies while the rest of us are at Regionals. The following day, Saturday, we can paint Vancouver 48 shades of SU!!
All Aboard!!

Well I should have planned our vacation time better...we were just in Vancouver in May....if I had of known about that us non-demos could still meet you all......

Is there a law against 2 vacations? Or you can always claim the Mommy REtime during which you go somewhere w/out DH and DKs to get the 5 REs. Those being: RElaxed, REfreshed, REjunvinated, REfocused & REcommitted.
hmmmm...have to think about that one.....although I am getting a weekend to myself in Sept. My church is having their annual Ladies Retreat and this year it is for the whole weekend (it used to be just one night!) So I will be packing up my stamps and my scrapbooking supplies and heading out in just a couple of weeks (oh yeah, I guess I better take some colthes along with me....hope I have enough room for that! )
Maybe this is a stupid question, but is it Vancouver USA, or Vancouver BC?
Rita, you could go through Opheim, MT it is very infrequently traveled. I think it is south of Moosejaw? I've only been up in Canada a few times but I think that is where that road goes.
If I could go, I'd have you come down and pick me up in your yellow school bus. (Is it a magic school bus?) I'd even drive up to Opheim to meet you! My dad is from there.

Hidy Ho There Montanan Neighbour.
It is Vancouver BC. And it will definitely be a MAGIC schoolbus when Darth finishes equipping it with the correct cloaking devise. However, we may just have to change this vehicle of conveyance to a MAGIC train so everyonecan be transported.
Let the Assistant Madame Director know your point of pick-up.
