Default Michael's - dimensional glaze

Anyone know where I could find some version of a dimensional glaze at M's? I've looked through the store and go straight to the "glue" section every time in hopes of scoring but there's nothing there...I've been looking for "glass effects", "dimensional glaze" and anything with the names crystal or diamond on them but can't find anything.

What version of dimensional glaze does M's carry? (I've only got the choice of Michael's and my LSS and they don't carry it) Can anyone describe what the bottle looks like or what section they found it in?

TIA

Hi -

I got one of mine at Michael's its by JudiKins and it is called Diamond Glaze. Its in a 2 ounce white bottle with a purple lablel - its also got a screw on top tip of about 1 1/2 inches. I found it in the adhesive section at Michaels near the modge podge

Plaid also makes something similar...it's called Roayl Coat Dimensional Magic...I found it with the acrylic paints. It's clear and comes in what appears to be a paint bottle with a pale yellow top. HTH

There's also a product called Glossy Accents made by Ranger that works very well. I got mine at Hobby Lobby but I have seen it at my lss too.

I guess I'll have to take a closer look at the paints...I did look there but there was SO MUCH STUFF that it all kind of jumbled together in my mind.

Thanks for the help!

I was at Michaels a few weeks ago; I was looking for something to make "cracked glass" & bought Aleene's Paper Glaze; turned out to be a product very much like SU's Crystal Effects! Dries hard & clear on your project (although my colors ran when I used it) but the label does say "for dimensional designs & laminating"; it's in a white bottle w/a tall pointy top & a purplish label; I went back since & bought UTEE for my project.

Plaid also makes a line of paint for paper called Plaid Papier. The clear one is identical to dimensional glaze. You'll be able to find it at Kent in St. John's, Kelly.

Excellent! Thanks for the help. I'll have to drop up to Kent on the way home from work tomorrow...(they close in 8 minutes!)

The Michaels in Regina had all the Papier product line closish to the stenciling stuff (I think . . . past the beading stuff and towards the unfinished pine stuff). They had opaque and the gel finishes. I am REALLY intrigued by the tinted gel finishes (they come in such pretty colours) but have no idea what I would do with them if I bought them. I hope you find what you are looking for!
