Hi!
I also like Mary Englebreight's art. I have some older sets of SU that reminds me of this style. I'll have to dig them out and make some cards. Thanks for reminding me that I haven't used these in a very long time.
Woohoo! Another ME fan! What sets do you have that remind you of her? I have the posies collection, basically, which I LOVE. Here is a scrapbook page I made of my daughter using this set. This is the FIRST set that sold me on SU! and made me sign up! Just LOVE it!
It is not really in her colors, but I love those Chunky Flowers:
I am a Mary Englebreight fan. In fact, I have some of her stamps which I have hardly ever used. May have to get some of them out for a NVR swap or RAK cards. They are really cute designs.

The Funky Favorites set always reminds me of her stuff. I love the set, but unfortunately it retired 4 or 5 years ago. The overstuffed chair looks great stamped in Night of Navy and then I like to color the flowers with Metallic Pencils. Gotta snap a picture next time I do that. Here are a few examples (not mine, though) made with that set:
I love Mary! I have every single one of her magazines! Have never missed an issue. She is such a creative illustrator. And her yearly issue on artists studios is killer!!!

Oh gees....I'll try to create a card that reminds me of her style. What a challenge that will be!

I'm a big ME fan as well. In fact, my classroom is decorated with her posters and even some of her fabrics. I love her colors, her sweet little innocent children she draws, and I especially like her collection of philosophical little quotes to live by as a part of her pieces.
A couple of weeks ago I found some of her cute pictures on magnets at Michael's for $1. I had hoped to make a card using them in the challenge they had last week using $1 finds.Maybe this will inspire me to do it.

Unfortunately that was all I could find, but I promise it's a great set!

Trish, TFS. I have that set and I don't think I've ever used it or if I did, it's been so long ago that I forgot. Guess I'm going to have to dig it out of hibernation and dust it off.

Hi!
The sets I have that make me think of ME are Petite Posies, DD Teapot, DD Sunflower, Seasonal Solids, DD Fabulous Fruit, DD Very Veggies, Fun in the Sun, Funky Favorites, Love Ya!, DD Leapfrogs, Petite Frames, Cherries, Checks & Posies, DD Fun Flowers, Posy & Bee, Flowers Give Pleasure,
I do have a ME set called In the Garden.
I like the pages made with the Posy & Bee set, very nice.
Well, DIG OUT THOSE SETS, dust of any ME stamps you have and post your creations in this thread! No time to waist! Maybe we should even start an ME swap! Lets see what we can put together!

I like the ME designs, too. When I read through the posts, I was reminded of a card I made YEARS ago with Petite Posies and Nice and Easy Notes (I earned those when I had my first party, about 5 years ago!). It's a stretch, but it's a little bit like ME....I may have to see what I can come up with now with a little more stamping experience!
