Default Magic Mesh question

I'm working on swaps and I'm using a small piece of magic mesh on each. I know the underside has adhesive but mine is somewhat sticky on top as well. I'm afraid my pages will stick together and ruin the whole bunch. Will it ever "dry" out? Is there some way I can remove the stickiness from the topside?

Thanks!

Default Magic Mesh

Try applying baby powder to the top of the mesh. Maybe that would alleviate the adhesive on top. I've used dry wall tape in place of magic mesh...it's much cheaper. HTH.

Do you color it? With a Brayer?

You could also run your embossing buddy over it. That's what I use when I have extra sticky (glue, mono, whatever) on something.

I didn't color it, left it the natural color. I did just order the adhesive remover. Maybe I'll try rubbing the tops with that when it comes in.

Thanks everyone!

I use un-do to get adhesive off of everything! You can but this at Walmart, Michaels, and other craft stores. If you have never used this product it is great. Also gets gum out of hair! (Handy if you are a parent) Undo also comes in wipes now, but I haven't seen them in the stores. It is a must have product on my list

I usually sprinkle Dazzling Diamonds over the mesh. It sticks and adds great sparkle (maybe I just love Dazzling Diamonds and want to use it on everything LOL)

I use drywall tape on my cards and save the magic mesh for my scrapbook pages (not sure if drywall tape will ruin my pics in the long run) I do use that adhesive remover though for all my extra mono adhesive and it takes that off so it will probably take this off too. It is cheap so worth a try to get one if a person don't have one already.

I haven't done the magic mesh thing yet. I think I will get the drywall mesh instead tho. Hmmmm....must add to shopping list.
