Default Mad Hatter Tea Party

I have been asked to make invites for a Mad Hatter Bridal Tea party.

I am not sure how I want to do them so I am turning to my Split Coast friends for some ideas.

Thanks
Jessica

Depends on whether you want a disney Verrsion or a real version, or (eek) the Tim Burton version ! I saw on ebay that there was a set of A in W stamps from the original drawings of the story, but they were unmounted rubber. Since it's a bridal shower, I think I would personally go classic. You could do it fun and have a stuffed pig for the bride to put her feet on.......but other than that, I don't know.

check out MotherMarks blog.....she has "tea parties" every tuesday and recently had a stint with the Mad hatter....maybe you'll find some inspiration there or with the other's cards who play along (sorry, I don't remember her key word for the gallery). Here is the link to her blog

Hey Starla....thanks for thinking of me here....I thought I would jump in here and post a link or two to the Madd Hatter teaparty!

Here is a link to the challenge:

Jessica:

I think it would be an absolute kick to make your invitations shaped in the shape of the Madd Hatter's Hat....it would be pretty simple to make a template for them too...not real complicated lines, kwim? Anyway, what fun it would be to come up with these invitations. Since its a bridal tea party, maybe you could do the invitation shaped like the hat, but have one half of it done up like the brides gown, and the other half of it done up like a tux....you could do little teapot punch outs for the buttons/pearls on their outfits. Also it would be fun to put the Cheshire Cat's tail on them somewhere.....

You could follow the rabbit's theme too....

Don't be late, Don't be late!
For a very important date!

Sounds like so much fun!
