Question What less practical set do you just love?

One that you can't use all the time but you love to dig out any time you can?

I love Classic Convertibles...I'm bummed it's retiring. I can always make a really nice masculine card with that set.

I plan on getting Godspeed and Star Spangled Banner. My husband's a Marine so I'll be able to use it for him. Practical for me, but not for everyone.

My most impractical set is probably Fall for All. I don't really make fall cards, and I don't make kids cards.... but I just had to have it (recently purchased in the BSOT!)!

Groovy! I just love this set (it's "my" era) but I only have a few friends that would appreciate it.

I bought Little Engine last fall. I made a couple of really cute scrapbook pages with it and a couple of kids birthday cards but now I'm wondering what else I'll do with it. I love that train, though!

Heck yeah it is Judy!

It has "sup ho" and "skankatopia" and other fab phrases!

Emily bought it for me!

Shelly demos it on DIY ALL the time! She's like "and I think a little "sup ho" in the corner would make this card pop, don't you agree?"

Really is there such a thing as an impractical stamp?

Kimberly you have got to be leg pulling! And by the way I grabbed my Catalog immediately, I guess I don't have the same page 106 as you.

And I have to admit I also went straight to the gallery and did a search for Gansgta greetings. I am a little disappointed nothing showed up, I thought it would be real interesting.

um, Kimberly is that you?

I am all sorts of confused-did you sign up with emily's info again like on the other thread? LOL very confusing!

my favorite is Classic Convertibles for grown up cards and Little Trucks for kiddo sets. My little guy would freak out if I got rid of his Bob Builder set! LOL

I am so pathetic I went to Emily's gallery assuming the post was her. Then I went to MamaKimberly's gallery. It is late and i am obsessed with this Gansta Greetings set (which in my logical head I know doesn't exist). I want to go to bed, if there really is such a card please post a link, please, please, please.

You are evil for having so much funny with a tired mommy, who should be in bed, because the kids are going to get up early.

Country Fresh and Roosting. What is it with those stupid chicken stamps that I can't seem to resist? I don't even like chickens. Stupid beasts really. (have you even noticed that the animals we prefer to eat tend to be kind of stupid-- cows, chickens, sheep, turkeys, etc...)

And those scarry children. Perhaps instead of a save the paisley, you need to start a kill the children of the corn campaign, Mama Kim. And not to highjack this thread, but WHEN are you going to post another scrap sketch? Or do you want to pass the torch?

"sup fine ho," AS IF.

That was all Emily, dawg! The problem is that when I go to her house, I forget to log out! She is obviously always logged in and I will sit down and surf and post and then realize I'm not "me" yet!

Hmm...define impractical? LOL! i guess Farm Fresh. It's one of my faves, I use it a lot, but it's not a set you can use for just anything.

Nice, I like the name! LOL

It's not hard to remember...

mamakimberly is 99% of the time Kimberly (cause Emily doesn't come to my house very often)
Emily is 90% Emily and 10% Kimberly

we're only together 3 or 4 days a week... well, that's not 100% true, because some days we get together, but only for a brief amount of time... like on Saturdays we grocery shop, but we don't "hang out".

So just stick to that schedule and you'll always know who is who

she's the bratty one, I'm the cute one

Smile Not Practical, but I love them!

I don't have much of a chance to use them, but I love my "Wolves" (first set I ever bought) and "Cold Weather Friends" sets. I love animals and the sets just called to me.

Oh well, I'm sure I will find ways to use them.
