Why not get the clear envelopes from SU? You have to buy a TON thru clearbags.com to make it worthwhile - and to me, it's not worth tying up all of my stamping budget!
I don't order thru clearbags but I know alot of other demo's that do. Large quantity for there business needs and we use them to show off set sampler cards and such. I use SU ones...just me tho

That is one reason I am glad to be in Okinawa, we have a 100 yen store where everything is 100 yen ($1.00) and I buy clear envelopes there all the time, you get 30 seal clear envelopesper pack perfect for cards only for 100 yen ($1.00). So I try to stay stocked up I've never got clear envelopes anywhere else before though.
I've never ordered from them, but if Iwas going to use clear bags/envelopes I would. Their prices are good and they have a wide variety to choose from.
Yea!!! I keep getting all these great cards in clear bags in card swaps and I was curious where everyone was getting them. I think I may see if my mom would want to go in with me and order some. I have already used over 300 baggies on swap items. These are a lot cheaper! Thanks for starting a great thread, and thanks to everyone that shared!
Thank you to all that have replied!! I need them for swaps and also for my samples. I am starting to get little finger prints on them. Thanks for all ya'lls help. This may sound bad but I knew that SU sold colored ones but I did not know they sold clear. I really don't study that part of the book much.
I called Clearbags in Canada, They sent me about 7 or 8 samples of bags & clear boxes. Now I know the size I need. Because
having to return stuff back is a pain.
Now for the nitty gritty, for a 1/4 sheet card you can use B45 for B45S. these are bags for holding cards not envelopes. The clearbags website has help for finding the size you need. My demo uses B45 I prefer B454s it's a matter of how you want to slide your card in. I ordered a larger size to hold multiple cards and envelopes for a craft show I hope to get into.
Hope this helps
I don't know about stores in anyone else's area but where I live there is a store that sells bags, tissue paper, tags, displays, etc. for businesses and stores. I get my clear bags for under $2 (Canadian) for 100. You can buy any size you want, ziplock or not. Check your yellow pages under business supplies.

I use poly bags from a company called ULINE. (www.uline.com). I use the 6x8 to make my set samplers. My upline uses the 6x9. When she teaches a class, each person gets a kit with all the supplies in these bags. The 9 inch will hold a half sheet of paper. I don't have time to separate individual kits so I just use these for set samplers and to wrap up door prizes with a topper. You get like 1000 for $15 to $25.
