Default Liquid Applique

Has anyone found this in a store? Michaels didn't seem to know what I was talking about. Any suggestions?

They used to sell it. It used to be on the wall where they kept the embossing ink pens at my store. Any scrapbook store that sells a decent amount of stamping stuff usually has it as well. Good luck in the search.

Joanne's has it, only in white. You can try your local stamping / scrapbooking store (if you have one). I'm usually able to find a couple of different colors at the store here.

Speaking of colored liquid applique - I have several NEW unopened tubes of this stuff. If you are interested, let me know! I can go dig them out and let you know what colors I've got!

Thanks for the ideas. I'm using it (white) for my stamp camp and want to make sure I can get it quick if needed. Think this will go back into the regular catalog next year?

Default Liquid Applique

I found it in AC Moore's and Ben Franklin's in the Embroidery or the place where they the stuff you put on Shirts. I couldn't find it in the stamping so I asked to see if they would order it. That's when both places told me they kept it where they thought people would use it. Go figure. LOL

Oh, well. HTH

Wanna try something cool with WHITE Liquid Appliqué?

Stamp an image, like a solid heart, with a very bold color of Classic/Dye ink, say Real Red or Baroque Burgundy. Apply White Liquid Appliqué over the top and allow to dry overnight. Heat. You'll notice that the Liquid Appliqué has "absorbed" some of the color of ink and the heart will be pinkish colored! Way fun!

I had some old "3D puffy glue" and it works just like liquid applique. I was afraid I was going to run out of liquid applique for my projects so dug that out and it works the same.

Liquid Applique used to be easy to find in any color. But over the last couple of years, I've been lucky to only find white. Good luck on the search.
