i have it also...i find and i don't know why it does this...but i find that sometimes it slips..i don't use it very much because of that. I dont' know if i'm using too much pressure to go around the item i'm matting or what...i think it is a good idea though...just i think i need alittle more practice...JMO

I have one and I really like it. Mine also slips on me occasionally, but it's no big deal, I just erase the pencil mark and start again where I messed up. It's great for layering odd shapes. I mostly use the smallest one, I don't think I have ever used the 2 biggest sized ones.

I had one before SU started selling them. I love it. I use it mostly to make mat for odd shape items, tags, stickers, etc. You may be having slipping problems if the item you are tracing is not stuck down really well all the way around. It is worth it to use more adhesive to get a tight fit on mat paper. Just thought might help.

I have this and love it and I sell it a lot. I always tell my customers to make sure they turn over the item they are tracing as well as the paper. That way if it slips you don't have to worry about erasing anything as you just turn it over. I have found it works better if your pencil is really sharp.
