Default journaling font cds

I am trying to decide whether or not to get one of the jounaling font cds. Does anyone have them or know if it is pretty easy to use....do you just feed your card stock through the printer? does it mess up the paper?

I, personally, think those CD's are a waste of money. There are TONS of free fonts to be found on-line. Just do a google or yahoo search and you'll get a long list of sites.

I got a couple a few years ago, and they're neat for moving things around into certain shapes (all of your journaling arranged in a leaf shape, for example). I honestly haven't touched them in a long time for the same reason already posted in this thread--there are so many other places to find this stuff for free. I subscribed to Scrapbook Answers for a year, and each month it came with a CD-rom full of free fonts, templates, programs, etc. I enjoyed it!

ARe you talking specifically about the SU ones? They are very easy to use. Yes, it's super simple to run cardstock through your printer.

The cool thing about the SU ones, is that some of the fonts match the common fonts SU uses on their stamps. So, if you are typing up invitations for example, you can match the font on your computer to the font used on the sentiment stamp.

When I was doing a graphic design project for a class, I just Googled "free font downloads" and went from there. Some sites were easier to search and navigate than others, but I found lots of good ones at www.dafont.com.
