I have recently started to use my unmounted stamps and am completly sold on the concept. So of course, I need more. Can anyone recommend web retailers that have a nice selection and variety of designs ( but not victorian type images) ?
For a great selection of theme plates, you can't beat Non Sequitur - www.nonsequiturstamps.com Periodically they have great specials, like buy 2 get 1 free.
Also, if you are into humorous, you can't beat the Golden Oldies range at Art Impressions - www.artimpressions.com They sell mounted as well as unmounted.
For a great masculine theme plate, go to www.oxfordimpressions.com The Distinguished Gentleman plate is fantastic as is Maiden Voyage which is based around the Titanic.
you can see one of the companies I offer at my website www.barbrasrubberroom.com click on the Golden rule supply links. I am their exclusive online distributor. If there is anything you need just email me and I will send you a confirmation.
You can also type in Unmounted rubberstamps into Google search engine and you will get a list of oodles of stamp companies that sell ums and have online catalogs.
Also go to .com for a large number of unmounted stamps.
Hope this helps.
definately www.purpleoniondesigns.com
Great alpha sets, from small to large sizes, a good assortment of fonts, and great prices and customer service....Kerilou
The Angel Company is a catalog, direct sales company like stampin up that has unmounted stamps. They have a nice selection and are really good to their demos.
Biblical Impressions also sells unmounted stamps. You can buy unmounted individual stamps that have foam backing on already, or full sheets with many stamps but just the rubber only.
I only have a few unmounted stamps but I really like the ones I have gotten from www.thestampingstudio.com there is not a huge selection but they are nice rubber stamps, not acrylic and Melissa is very friendly and helpful if you have questions, they prices are great also. She has cards in stampers sampler and take ten alot, that is how I found her.

I will be doing this with all my retired SU stamps, and possably with some of my non-retired SU stamps as well. And, if we end up moving into a smaller apartment, or overseas, this will happen to ALL my stamps if I want to be able to take them with me!
My recommendations to add to all the others are: www.chapelroadartstamps.com www.saltspring.com/oldisland www.rubbadubbadoo.com
The first 2 are Canadian companies, and the third one is a New Zealand company. I have bought from all three in the past and have had excellent service and their product is very good.
Ma Vinci's Reliquary for all different types and sizes of alphabet stamps. Red Castle for a wide variety of choices (some victorian, but a lot of others as well). Wild Frog Creations for hysterical frog stamps - like an elvis frog, an Easter Frog, etc.
