Hi, does anyone know where I can get a good storage rack online for the new style SU stamp pads? I live in rural Alaska and order mostly online. I've seen some great revolving racks on Ebay but they're $150! Any help is much appreciated. Thanks, Sarah
Have you checked out the storage units at www.stampinthings.com? My husband bought me one of theirs for Christmas and I absolutely love it! He bought me the one called "The Elite". I like it because it holds all of the 48 SU pads plus 24 other style pads. It also holds the refills bottle and matching marker right next to the pads. It's not cheap but it is well worth the price. It's made out of wood and is very sturdy. I can't say enough good things about it.
I too, received the "Elite" for Christmas!!! from http://www.stampinthings.com/ Sue Nagel was awesome to work with. The workmanship is beautiful. I use it as a permanent fixture, since I don't ever travel with all my ink pads and/or refills. Because I still have a few of the old design from SU, they fit perfectly on the sides. My goal is to get another one specifically for SU craft inks - working on getting all 48 colors, the Spectrum & Encore pads, and lastly Stazon to fill the 72 slots! Happy Stampin
I also have the cdjdesigns one. I have the one that sits on the desk and holds all 48 pads. It is not the swivel one. It is the best thing ever and well worth the money and the amount of shipping.
My husband bought me a rack off of ebay for Christmas and I love it! The sellers name is stampingmykayla and she has some up for sale now. I have the rack that holds 90 pads with the ribbon spools. The spools aren't really far enough out to hold larger spools of ribbon, so I put my wheels on them.
The only thing I would say about this seller is to ask for insurance. I didn't and the item was slightly damaged in shipping. It took no time at all for my husband to fix it, but it was rather disappointing to not be able to use my present right away. He also mounted right on the wall above my worktable. So convenient!
Hi everyone, thanks for all your great help and information. I ended up getting a rack from another demonstrator who makes them and I love it. It holds 60 new or old style pads, 60 markers, 60 reinkers, 40 wheels and has a tray on top and is mounted on a lazy susan so it rotates. It also has two sturdy handles to move it around. It's pretty compact, I have it sitting on my desk and it is great. It was about $100 and shipping up here to Alaska was high but it was worth it, it's perfect! Thanks for everyone's input, it is much appreciated. Sarah
