Default Ikea Storage Unit...I NEED IDEAS!!!

I really need some funky ideas for this storage unit. I might even paint it or cover it with PP. I might get 4 or 6 depending on what I can do with them. I do need ink storage so I was thinking about doubling up or taking out the drawers and stacking them somehow...hmmmm...I'm blank to be honest...HELP!!!

How cool is that! I actually like it like that, although it could be altered to match your space. I think several units all stacked and lined up would be cool, with some drawers in and some out. You could store markers, etc. in the drawers you took out.

Honestly, I would probably paint them.

If the paint is opaque enough I might leave it at that.

But, of course, once they are painted (either one color or 2 or 3 complementary colors) I would consider them a blank canvas to:

- use markers
- acrylic paint
- stamp
- decoupage
- attach hardware
- attach vinyl or fake wood grain or any other texture (felt, fur, gemstones, whatever floats your boat and goes with your craft room-- I can't tell how sturdy they are, but you might want to make sure they could withstand whatever you are attaching to them and also consider how much (weight-wise) you plan to store in them so that they still function properly).

Really, the possibilities are many!

Good luck and have fun!
