Default Scrapping/Stamping can be a very dangerous.....

HOBBY!!!!!!

Yesterday i was prepping one of the rubber stamp by removing the foam part so i could mount it on ez mount. anyway i was using exacto knife and somehow it slipped and sliced my left ring finger tip fairly deep. i couldnt get the bleeding to stop so i went outside to let dh know. he was laying bricks. he dropped the brick and jumped up and took me to e.r. i was praying that i dont have to have stitches (i so hate the needles) but nope i got steril tape and metal tip guard thingie on so i don't keep banging it as i sign. painfull!!!! we had ribs for dinner last night and i wore rubber surgical glove so my bandage wont get dirty. i also wore it in shower. dh thinks it was funny. so all in all, sb and stamping is very dangerous hobby.

Default Ouch

If you microwave your stamp for 20 seconds, it will loosen the adhesive and peel the foam off easily.

THat way and to the pocketbook. There are times when my pocketbook is gutted and stitches won't stop the bleeding! Hope the finger guard doesn't impede your stamping ability! Diane

Hope your finger gets better quickly! I've had many a cut from my Kai scissors but none quite so bad as what you did.

Ouch. Hope you get to feel better soon. I only managed to stab myself with the papersnips last night. Thankfully I was wearing rubber gloves so no blood was flowing.
