Default Not quite sure where to post this

I need some help with homemade, stamped items and prices. My sister asked me if I would make some homemade items that her work can give as birthday gifts. The items just have to be something little, but I am having a hard time with prices. I was thinking about the paper cubes, stationary, notecards, flower pots, etc. Can anyone please help me with prices for things like this - including labor and expenses?
Thank you!

A good rule of thumb for pricing things is 2-3X's your material cost...

so if it costs you about .50 cents worth of material to make a card a good price would be $2.00 per card...of course you can go up and down based on time and how intricate the cards are. I do sets of 6 cards (fairly easy to do in an assembly line fashion - I'll usually do the same card and do different sentiments for each card for 3 of one sentiment and 3 of another - like Thank you for 3 and Thinking of you for 3) with matching stamped envelopes for $10 - most of the time my total material cost for 6 cards and envelopes is about $3-4 depending on embellishments (ribbon, brads, EP, glitter,etc...)

Same goes for a note cube - if it costs you $4 just for the cube I would charge $8

Hope this helps

2x2 magnets are nice, small, easy to make and not too expensive.
I had luck selling mine at craft fairs for $2 each.

For that matter, tumbled tile coasters are a great gift, too.
At craft shows I sold those for 4/$20 or $6 each. What you can get for those really depends on the area you live in...

I've stamped on dish towels and given those as gifts. Useful and easy.
I bought them in bulk online but sometimes you can find nice plain ones at TJ Maxx.

If you do note cubes, why not include an RSVP pen to go with it?
I have to admit, I haven't tried that yet but they look very cute.

I've also made and given sets of note cards - same or similar design for 6, 8 or 10 cards.

Good luck.
