I Need: A Good Baby Set, A Good Sympathy Set, and A Good Wedding Set
I don't have a big need for these, but I feel I should have one of each on hand for the occasional situations that come up. Anyone have any suggestions for good overall, timeless sets for the above occasions?
Thanks!!
My new favorite is Year After Year. It has a cake that is perfect for weddings, flowers that would work for sympathy, an elephant that is great for kids/babies, etc. I love the sets that have lots of use!
My favorite for sympathy is Close to a Memory. Those flowers are really pretty and easy to do with watercolor crayons, plus I use the flowers other than sympathy, too. For weddings, I usually have hearts or emboss the lace background using white or pearl embossing powder, than just add "Happy Wedding Day" on top.

The Angel Company's "With Sympathy" is fantastic.
My favorite card to send to expecting Mom's is made with TAC's "How Swell" it's not really a baby set though.
If you can fidn someone who wishes to part with it, I've found the Sell-a-bration set "Perennial Friendship" to be quite versatile -- the flowers are suitable for birthday, wedding, sympathy, Mother's Day, Easter, friendship...just about every occasion you can think of. I waffled over that set for weeks and am so glad I decided to get it.
For babies I picked up "Buggies & Booties" from the retired list and had reason to use it a week after it was mounted. I have a feeling it will get a LOT of use!
