i'm looking for a cute little friendship "saying/poem" that is to be given with hand lotion. It compares the soothing effects of friendship/lotion. I was given this same thing years ago and then gave it to friends a few years back, but now can't find it. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks & happy holidays,
Justina
A little deviation (tho' that's suitable when it comes to chocolate, no?)
I'd add a decorated can or sachet of hot chocolate; to use the whisk on. :-)
You could even add a little chunk of chocolate, a peppermint stick/ candy cane and mini marshmallows with it. (chocolate to grate on top of your hot chocolate, peppermint stick to stir--melts and tastes GREAT) Mmmmm... now I want to go get some. ;-)
OK Gals~

I did the "popping by with a holiday hi" one a few years ago and just attached the card to a box of microwave popcorn. Very simple and fun and can be prepared and eaten on their own time frame. I just kept watch for a good sale.
I've also done cake mix with a note - You take the cake neighbor!
I really love this idea, but... the Dollar Tree stores around here only seem to have some ugly plastic whisks. I've looked other places and some have wooden handles. I really want the all metal ones. Are they still around?
Thanks for your help.
I made four of those whisks the other day after I saw this thread! And they were a BIG hit with the recipients. Thanks so much for the idea and the picture.
I found the wire ones at the Dollar General. You have to work with them as I said in an earlier post. I attached 3 or 4 to scotch tape and put them in to start. Actually, I did this twice then I was able to stuff the rest in.
I made these for everyone in my office and distributed them this am. They were a HUGE hit!! My 99cents Only store had tons of the wire whisks (which I gave out today), as well as colored plastic ones (I got red and green! - for family). I filled them with a packet of cocoa, a candy cane, and a mix of kisses and starlight mints. Didn't need any tape or anything, just kinda held it together and slid it into a Wilton clear cello bag. Used the silver twist ties, and tied on the tag (which I had printed onto Bazzill white, punched with the mega scallop, and inked the edges with Glorious Green) with red gingham ribbon.
Great Idea! Where did you get the heavy clear plastic or is that regular Plastic Wrap? I was looking for something little to do for my sister-in-laws and this might just fit the bill!
Hey, I used the clear envelopes from Amber, I got the link from here and ordered them from her and they are bigger than the SU ones by a little bit, but they are perfect for these whisks, I just slip the Whisk in the bag and then poke the kisses in the whisk, then pull off the tape from the top of the envelope and wind it around the whisk handle and it is sealed. The corners of the envelope I pushed into the whisk before filling it with candy.
