I finally got one this year, after stamping for nearly 10 years! I can't believe it took me so long, either. This is truly a great tool!
I remember many years ago, the LSS owner in my area tried to sell me one that was this big complicated piece of equipment for $50...hah! Glad I didn't fall for that one!
Tee Hee, I felt the EXACT same way when I first got mine. You never realize what a valuable tool this is till you own it. And here I thought it was just for alphabet stamps!!! Boy was I WRONG!! Can't live without it.
SU sells this. It is called a stamp-a-ma-jig. It enables you to line up perfectly any stamp to another stamped image. If you have one of those times where your stamp isn't covered with ink and you get a partial image, you can line it up with the stamp-a-ma-jig and stamp right on top again and no one will know! It's wonderful!!! No more ruined projects because it didn't line up. It's great for lettering as well.

I really do use mine all the time. I suck at mounting stamps, they are always crooked or something. If it's important to have things centered or lined up, this tool is invaluable. I am about to order the perfect layers tool too. I think once I get that, I'll feel the same way about it too.
They are awesome. One tip - find a "home" for it that is really accessible. Because you'll be using it a lot!
Also, go to out to a craft store and buy an extra pack or two of the imaging sheets (Craft Warehouse has a pack of 3 or 4 for 99 cents). When I really get to making lots of cards, at Christmas and such, I find that I like to leave some of the much used sentiments on the imaging sheets so that I don't have to re-stamp them.
Also, if you happen to forget to use dye ink on the imaging sheet and use a permanent ink, it can be easily wiped off with alcohol!
Hi, I recently got one and love it! however I wish there were lines on it or a grid of some sort, to make sure that I'm lined up with the bottom of the page.
But other then that its great!
