i'm pretty sure you have to do it in photoshop (or similar program) and you'd probably use the shapes tool to place them where you want them when you design the layout.

I use powerpoint for my sketches. Layering the shapes however I want the sketch. Then I save the "slide" (that's what powerpoint calls a page) as a jpeg for posting to my blog, etc. This way all my sketches are in one easy to find powerpoint file instead of individual files.

Hey Jimmi,
I have looked at your tutorial and I am using MS 2007 and I don't have the option of right clicking and adding "drawing" to my tool bar. I have looked everywhere and I don't see it, any advise? I will wait until I get home and use my older verison of MS, oopps, did I say I was at work and lurking at Splitcoast. MY BAD!!! LOL!!!

Thanks,
Can you go to "Tools" and then "Customize" and click on the "Drawing" toolbar?
That will bring it up.
Sometimes it's at the bottom, too. Mine at home is, not sure what version I have there.
Am I the only one that has no idea how to do this? Can I do this with photoshop?
Help!?
Yes, Photoshop works great for card sketches. I previously posted a sample layout and step-by-step directions in replies #5 and 6 in this thread: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
