I just submitted an SU order for a friend and me, and topped the $300 mark for rewards. This will cover me for the year, except for some items I may want from a smaller occasions catalog featuring holiday items. What really bothered me was the shipping/handling fee (I know, 10%) but then the PA 6% state tax on both product and shipping. That was 1/6 of my total product price order. This product order helped our demo for this 3rd quarter. I think about the gas I spend going to LSS which are at least 20 miles away each part of the trip, and wouldn't have these products. I like the SU products so I bite the proverbial bullet for the extras. Too bad those extras don't help my demo! Can't wait to play! Also stocked up on the grid paper pads this time... Diane
Wow, any demo would love to have you for a customer! She is $60 ahead and she gets to stay in it for another quarter. Kudos to you!

From what I can find it should go live September 1. Convention is July 22-25 and we get to see it and order some things from it so sneak peeks should show up in a few weeks!
Just four more days until I can shop from the FSJ catalog/holiday mini, and earn Double Hostess Dollars with my $150 order!!! I am excited that I will be able to get $40 in product free starting on Saturday! I better get working on that list, in case I need to put in an order at the beginning of August, and another at the end!
Do any of you know if there are plans in the future to allow new coaches to choose the items in their kit? Right now, the $70 kit is entirely comprised of business supplies (not needed for someone who doesn't intend to sell). The upgraded kits have some actual product, but it doesn't appear as though the new coach gets to choose any of it.
One nice thing about the SU kit is that the product is chosen by the new demo. I understand that both companies want sellers and not "mere" hobby coaches/demos and the mandatory business supplies are provided to enable this, but the fact that the SU kit is customizable is a big plus.
My DIL is interested in joining FSJ (the catalog is full of fun stuff!), but isn't wild about dropping her first $70 on items that will end up in the recycle bin. Any good news I can pass along to her?

We have a custom option too. In August, new coaches get double ink pads. I have a downline that traded her business stuff with others. Just an idea.
Where could I direct my DIL for info on customizing her kit? Thanks!
I doubt she's interested in a Grand (I love my Calibur, though!). What's holding her up is the inability to get things she wants in her kit. It'll take a long time to make up the "wasted" money (buying items she doesn't want in her kit just to join) with her coach's discount.
I want her to join soon so I can see & play with the stuff, though! lol

Have her go to funstampersjourney .com to search for a coach to reach out to. :-)
Thanks for posting that. I showed it to DIL and it's not quite what she wanted. She doesn't want the machine (she has one that handles waferthin dies) or the bags or any of that stuff. She was hoping for something like the SU kit where you actually choose ALL the product and don't pay for the business forms. (You still have to accept them -- no opting out, even if you toss them straight into the recycle bin -- but you don't pay for them.)
Back when I joined SU, the kit was on sale for $99. I chose $99 worth of product from the entire SU line. I received my items as well as all the business forms (which did, indeed, go straight into the recycle bin).
I blame myself for setting DIL's sights too high. :( I explained how it worked with SU and we both assumed (yes, I know how the saying goes!) that FSJ would be similar.
On the plus side, the FSJ minimums are quite reasonable and the products look wonderful. Even if DIL doesn't become a coach, I'm sure we'll both be buying FSJ products in the future!
Thanks for all your help, Christine!
