Smile HELP! Technical question....

I'm doing 60 invites for a friend's graduation dinner. I want to use silver encore ink to do some accents on the background of the cardstock. Does it typically smudge even when dry? I think heat setting it tends to dull the color and I often warp my cardstock when heating setting?

ANY ADVICE?

I have had no luck gettin gthis stuff to dry at all!! I think the only way to keep it from smudging is by embossing. Good luck!

Spray with hairspray or a matte sealant when you're done!

Oh yeah, if you add a LITTLE pearl-ex to the hairspray and just spray lightly, it gives a beautiful, subtle finish.

I always end up using clear embossing powder over it and then embossing. It keeps that high silver sheen, and it doesn't smudge!

Ditto the clear embossing. I just finished 60 baby shower invites -- I feel for you!! Won't be doing that again in a hurry...

When I use encore ink I just let dry over night. I did a 50th bday party and used silver encore on the background (soft swirls) and on the vellum and had NO PROBLEMS! No spraying and no embossing BUT...if you want it to dry faster...under heat just lightly and your paper will still stay flat.

Good Luck
I did 100 and don't plan on doing that anytime soon...haha
