Hi,
I used a straight edge razor on sets that I received from Ebay that were not mounted the way I like them to be mounted. The razor is very sharp and you can cut down into the rubber and foam and slide it off the wood. You can also shave off any rubber that you feel is interfering with your stamped image.

HTH...

You can put the stamp in your microwave for about ten seconds, just enough to heat up the adhesive a little so you can remove the rubber from the block. Then trim them up better and stick back on. If it doesn't stick on, I think you can use Crystal Effects glue or maybe rubber cement....you should search for a thread about rubber cement....seems like you put it on both pieces you are going to adhere, let it sit a little bit, and then stick them together...but I'm not sure. But I do know you can put the stamp in the microwave just a tiny bit at a time until you can remove the rubber to trim it.
