Question Heat Setting

Okay this is probably going to be a "dumb question" moment, but when people talk about "heat setting", for example heat setting ink on paper before applying the next step, that's just means running your embossing heat gun over it right?

I've also heard you can stamp on walls if you heat set your impression. Can I presume it's the same technique?

I think you are right. Heat setting to me is almost always using a heat gun.

I would not put a heat gun on my walls however. I would be afraid of a fire. Not unless I could test out a piece of drywall outside. I would stamp using acrylic paint on my walls.
