Smile Has this ever happened to you?

My friends, I'm here to tell you a tale of what happened to me as a warning to others.

I started stamping...oh...2 or 3 years ago. A friend of mine became an SU demo and convinced me to try. She had to do some arm twisting because I told her I wasn't creative. For a while, I had just a few sets of stamps. I stamped occasionally. I always had to buy cards because I never had any on hand to just give and usually waited too long to make one. I kept my stamps in one drawer...yes, just one...in a 4 drawer rolling cart. I think I had one other drawer with chalks and inks and some card stock.

Now I keep them in a dark cupboard, and I'm here to tell you there is something hinky going on in there. Why you ask? They multiply! I have big sets of stamps, little sets of stamps, and medium sets of stamps. My few sets have turned into almost 70! Not only that, but they also seem to breed cousins...I'm being taken over by ink, paper, embellishments, new tools, etc.

So...please...learn from me. Keep your stamps where you can see them!

I just had to do it. I couldn't believe how many stamp sets I have when I counted them tonight. I just know I couldn't have bought them all...

Welcome to the club....I have not only SU stamps, but CTMH, TAC, Posh Impressions, Rubbernecker, Rubber Stamp Tapestry, etc., etc., etc. I don't even want to count....since I have nearly 200 CD cases of unmounteds and 2 whole bookcases full of mounteds. $$, what money? I agree, they breed, I didn't buy all this! Oh....and I have 2 FULL Iris carts (10 drawer) full of punches, embellishments, ribbon, cutting tools, etc., etc., etc. So...you are now part of a very HUGE club of ADDICTED STAMPERS....WELCOME!!!!

I know what you mean. They breed on their own around here (almost just as bad as the dustbunnies, because I'm too busy playing)

I keep mine on an open shelf and they *still* multiply. But I have to sleep at night! They must be playing around after I turn out the lights.

So that's what happened! Ah, I feel so much better now that I'm not alone! Of course, there is the case of my friend who could open a store with all her stuff... I think her supplies must have a thyroid condition!

Like bunnies! I'm being overrun by them! They multiply like rabbits! I even try keeping them in various places all over my house (much to my husband's dismay) but they still manage to increase. Every time to put them back on their shelf, there's more of them and I have to rearrange everything to make them fit! How does it happen?

This is oh so true! There are days when I am digging through my sets and I find one that I swear I never ordered, but there it is. I try to tell my stamp sets to stop multiplying but like any good habit they don't listen.

And here I though all along that 'rubber' was supposed to prevent reproduction! Back to the drawing board, eh? (ha ha ha ha);)

Thumbs up

I could think of a few other things that we could be doing other than buying stamps.,
And they are not heathly at all!!!!!!!

Stamping Bring JOY to others.
Stamping and scrapbooks are where it at!

Creating is a good thing!!

Spending money On something that we like to do is a Very good thing.

I'm sure that our Dh wouldn't think so, But hey they spend money on Computers, Tools, Car's, Smokes, Drink's.

Why should I feel quilty???

I'm not! I'm doing what I like doing....Buying Stamps and supplies.....

This is a riot! It is true though. I started out with a 3 drawer iris cart and figured it was enought for all of my supplies. Ha. I can't wait for my DS to move out so I can have a stamp room! I really do need a whole room.
