Getting published

Can any one tell me how you go about getting a card or project published in a magazine such as papercrafts, etc? Thanks! Much appreciated:p

Any other advise or tips from those of you who have already been/or are regularly published?

I imagine these companies are getting literally thousands of submissions for each issue.

Do you have any suggestions on what they may be looking for? Or clearly not looking for?

You can read up on the submission guidelines in most of those magazines (I usually find that in the back) or on the magazine's website. Some have slightly different rules, rewards, and policies on returning your artwork. It is pretty darn neat to see something you created in print. ;-)
