I've just read the terms of service for SCS and hope this is okay to post; someone please tell me if it's not!
I am not trying to bash this company, but I wanted to share my experience with you so that no one else loses money the way I did.
Last November I found some very reasonably priced (I thought) corrugated storage containers online from Craftstorage.com , perfect for my 12x12 SU cardstock. They each hold up to 13 sections, so I ordered four, thinking I'd have a slot for each of the 48 colors. This was right around Thanksgiving; I received an e-mail confirming my order, instructing that it could take up to 14 days to receive my products. Well, 2 weeks went by, no packages, so I tried emailing the company. My debit card hadn't been charged yet, so I wasn't too worried. I kept trying to call the company, with no answer, and no response to my emails.
I got busy with Christmas, and forgot to check our bank statement. When our bank statement came in January, I saw that my debit card was charged $72.90 the 12th of December, but still no storage containers!
I finally got ahold of the gal, after finding an alternate phone number and name of the lady on my bank statement...she said some faxes to the warehouse had been lost, blah, blah, blah, that she'd have a shipping date for me and so on....
I have now filed a complaint with the Nebraska (where she is located) Better Business Bureau, and she's not replied to them either. Her website is still up and running, but she doesn't answer her phone or emails.
Does anyone know if there's anything else I can do? I feel like a fool!
Thanks, Sharon, for your advice. I just got off the phone with my bank, and they will dispute the payment and don't see that there will be any problem with it, since I didn't receive the merchandise! I had just assumed that since I had given them my credit card number, there wouldn't be anything the bank could do...Wish I had called sooner! Guess I was just embarrassed for being taken.
At any rate, I wouldn't advise ordering anything from their website!
Angie
Contact your state attorney general's office, the post office, your credit card company to dispute the charge, and there are links to report internet fraud. That is what I would do....bet you will either get your boxes or a refund. Good luck!

Angie,
Since their address is on the web site, I would also send them a registered letter letting them know all that you have already done. And, I agree...talk to your state attorney general's office and file a complaint. When you tell them that, you usually get a response. HTH and good luck.
My folks ordered some from this company for me for Christmas. Their cc was charged and they never got anything. They tried and tried to contact the company by phone and email and never got any replies. The cc refunded their money.
I was totally bummed they turned out to be a flaky company. The storage looked really great. Sorry you're having troubles too.

Did you notice the "Real Customer Comments" section on their homepage. I looked to see if there was anyway to leave one but didn't find anything. Too bad you can't leave a comment, huh?
If the company is taking money and not delivering products, I'd call it fraud!!! If you get your money back, whew!! I'd still follow up, however. Some state attorney general offices are great at this and some don't make it a priority AT ALL (bigger fish to fry, etc.). But, it is worth pursuing even if just to register a complaint. I think you can also check out the Federal Communications Commission website. Maybe they have a way of registering complaints about internet fraud?

Take out a full page ad in the local newspaper of where the company is located with the company's name in large print, explaining that this company took your money and millions of other dollars from others and you just wanted to the public to know. (hee, hee...guess that's a little over the top, but hey!)
Ohhh...another idea! Hire a professional hacker to hack into their website and really screw up their site so no one else can ever EVER order from them!

Wow ... I wouldn't ever want to get on your bad side! LOL! ;)
If you go under join mailing list you can leave a comment.
Yeah, but supposedly another aspect of their business is web design, so I doubt they'd let my comments show up on their homepage. And...I doubt that any of those comments are actually legit! :???:
Please don't be embarassed -- I think this happens to a lot of people and it's happened to me with another company. I know that I waited a long time because I just kept thinking it would arrive and it never did. I really hope this works out for you Keep Trying ;)
I found a website for reporting fraud and filed a complaint. This is part of the info they posted:
"We have forwarded the information you provided about suspected fraud to the appropriate federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. They will handle it just as if you had contacted them directly. Since most agencies cannot take legal action on every individual complaint, they look for patterns of fraud. Thats why its so important to report it. We cant make any guarantees about what will happen, but we know that the information that consumers provide is essential for stopping fraud."
When I filed with the NE BBB on 2/13, they listed 2 complaints had been filed against Craftstorage.com and/or EZ Net Solutions, and today it said there have been 7 filed, so hopefully more people will report they've been having problems, thus showing a "pattern of fraud."
The real bummer is, like Jennifer said, the storage looked cool and is reasonably priced, so I really wanted it!
Highsmith makes the corroboard organizers I think you are talking about. www.highsmith.com You can order a catalog from them online. Highsmith makes a lot of products for schools and teachers. You can order some stuff online, but it doesn't seem to show the scrapbooking stuff by putting in the keyword. I have ordered from them years ago and they are a good company. It is a shame the company took your money and didn't deliver a product.
Just do what everyone else says...write letters to the BBB, attorney general's office, etc. Normally I have good luck with the BBB. If after 3 attempts, they don't do anything or get anything resolved through the BBB, then the complaint goes on file.
Good luck, and perhaps you can find another company with the product you are looking for.

I have used the highsmith products--great acid-free stuff (they sell to libraries for archival storage). It is available (at least a lot of their products) at my local scrapbook store.
