A Little Birdie Told Me In a Fix * Question

((intro with theme music likened to 'Jeopardy'))

You're working with a deadline.
SU's Iridescent Ice EP has a prominent appearance on projects.
Suddenly, when you least expect it, your 1/3 full pot of Iridescent Ice takes a flying leap off your stampin' table!
All the king's horses and all the king's men,
Couldn't rescue much of mess back into the pot again.
Sad.

Deadline passes in 3 days. Cannot get an order in that amount of time.
What's next?
Do you know a reallllly good substitute for I.I. EP?

I have an old jar of Kaleidoscope by Stampendous that is probably the best match. It is at least 5 years old. I had to of purchased it at one of the big three - Hobby Lobby (almost sure it was there), Joanns or Michaels. I just tried Dazzling Diamonds and clear embossing powder mixed together and it just wasn't close.

Awwwwwwwww ... I cannot trace all of those perfect lines.
So .... heat embossing is the bestest option for these.
Thanks though! ;)

Do you have one of those glue pads?? Maybe use a glue pad and then sprinkle glitter over it.

edited to say:
Can you email your demo to ask her to email all of her customers to see if any of them has this powder? If she's a hobby demo, maybe she can ask her upline to do this?? Surely there is someone physically close to you who has it!

You poor thing-you were looking for the 3/8" circle punch then this! I was going to let you know that I found a 3/8" circle punch in the $1 bins at Michael's a few months ago.

Hope the others person's suggesting about asking your SU demo so send out an SOS! Would be doable.

I don't have the glue pad ... but I could try M's or JoA's for that for sure!
Alas, my demo is hours away from me. But thanks for the shoppy idea! Hhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm .... I just might "have" to leave again today! Ha! ;)

I'm seriously contemplating a drive out to JoAnn. Maybe the Kaleidoscope Stampendous ep is in the store ... it's on their website. Guess it's possible!

Don't get me wrong ... I love an excuse to go crafty shoppin' like any normal (or even obsessed?) stampy girl. It's just the time required to do so at this point in my week ... KWIM? No end to the list this week. Probably need to just suck it up and get with it. haha

Call first to see if they have it. That way if they don't your not wasting time in your busy week.

Try clear embossing powder mixed with dazzling diamonds glitter.

I was going to say what Terry just suggested - just mix Dazzling Diamonds glitter with clear EP - the ratio is about 2 or 3 parts clear EP to 1 part glitter. Works exactly the same.

Do you have an A Muse consultant around you? Not sure if it's the same thing, but A Muse has a diamond embossing powder.

Good luck!

I wasn't sure if you found one that matched. I know of three Tsukineko Iridescent, Ranger Holographic iridescent, and Judikins.
