First Card Post! and question

Hi!
I'm fairly new here, and I haven't really introduced myself yet. My name is Tracey and I live in Pennsylvania just west of Philadelphia. I work for the Girl Scouts and I plan events for girls. I'm 25 and I just started making cards last December.
This seems a little longwinded... anyway, I love this site! and I'm excited to be a part of it.

I just uploaded my first card to the gallery... and I have a couple more to put up tonight... Why is it that my cards show up in the gallery as "pending approval" while the ones uploaded after mine already show the picture? Do I need to have a certain number of uploads before they are automatically accepted?

Tracey - welcome to SCS!! I'm sure you'll love it here. You're card is listed as "pending approval" until one of the SCS Moderators approves it. All cards are reviewed....yep....each and every one! If you would like instant uploads, become a fan club member. There is more info on the home page about that. And it lets you access the fabulous DD gallery too - simply fabulous!

Welcome! I second the idea of joing the Fan Club. Not only for instant uploads but for the extra "special" gallery members can see. It is not expensive and a great way to support the site!
