Default RSVP pen - duh!!!

Most of you have probably thought of this. I hadn't until today and I've made quite a few of the RSVP pens to go with notecards, etc. Today - finally - I thought of personalizing them by printing the recipients name on my computer then stamping and cutting it to fit the pen! Duh! Why didn't I think of that before. I used Accent Dot Writer Font size 12. It looks great! Wish I had thought of it many gifts ago.

Also, to get the pentel writing off, I used the Mr. Clean magic eraser. Worked in a flash!

Oh well, better late than never!

that is a great idea! i plan on making several pens for the women in my church who are going to be attending a women's retreat and it would be great to personalize the pens by adding their names! thanks for the tip!

I've personalized the pens by just stamping with an alphabet set. It makes the name large enough to see, but you are also able to see the other stamps. I've done the name both vertically and horizontally and it comes out nice.

That is a great idea! I love names on pens b/c then people do not run off with them! And if they do....it is like a little conscience reminding them that it is not their pen!!!

I hate to act stupis- but I will. Do you just stamp something on paper, roll it up tight and put it INSIDE the pen?

You can do it that way or attach it to the outside & cover with the red tape & then clear beads. Personally I like the beads better. I have a hard time seeing the images when they are in the pen.
