Default Filigree, Paisley, or Just Jeans?

I'm going to add a background stamp to my next order. Should it be Filigree, Paisley, or Just Jeans? I have Canvas (LOVE IT). Is JJ too similar to Canvas? I never gave Paisley a second thought until until I saw some samples!

So now I'm indecisive--please help!

I don't think that JJ is too much like Canvas. I have both and use them both alot. If you are worried they are too much alike, I would go with Paisley if given the choices you gave Good luck deciding!! Don't you wish you had an unlimited stamp budget, so we didn't have to make such hard decisions

Cannot help. Own all 3. All 3 are splendiferous.

BUT, maybe this will help! LOL!

Try looking at what you already have in your stamp sets.

If much of what you own is vintage/victorian, of a French/Euro nature, elegant floral style, then go with Filigree.

If you have whimsical/contemporary style stuff, or possibly need more "masculine" style stuff, go with Just Jeans. As you said, however, you have Canvas, and probably you can get buy quite some time with Canvas.

If you have a variety of vintage, masculine, whimsical , elegant and want something that will go with ALL those styles you already own, I actually would suggest Paisley.

I vote "Filigree". It is so versatile. You can use it as a background, as well as, in the foreground. I love the embossed gold over Roses in Winter. Check out filigree roses by bkeenan256. Love it!!!

Just Jeans!! Not too similar, but then again, you could be taking a chance since it may retire.

I totally agree with Julie. I would get the just jeans only because I have all men in my family and I tend to make more masculine things.

I think it all depends on what style you use the most. However, I do have all three....I know...I'm a junkie...lol

I'm leaning toward Paisley...just looked again in the Gallery and the Dirty Dozen (first time today in DD), and oh my--the talent in both places... But that's another subject! The way Lisa Lisa uses Paisley is amazing.

Still open to opinions.

I have all three but I think I would go with Paisley if I didn't...especially right now with all the cool ideas the DD gals shared!

I don't have any of the three (but will be getting my hands on the Paisley soon) but I would vote for Paisley. I always thing of Paisley as a masculine print, especially when done in rich tones like tans and burgundy and chocolate browns....Maybe my dad had socks like these when I was a kid or something? Aren't a lot of ties paisley?

By the end of next month I will be adding this one and the Canvas BG stamp. I didn't think I liked BG stamps, I just have one right now, but I am seeing what depth they add to cards and...oh...the possibilities!

i have just jeans and filigree (love them both)

I would say get filigree or paisley, just to have a bg stamp with more of a "design" Although you can do so much with just jeans, it is similar to canvas in that it adds great texture and a neat look, the others will actually give a totally different look. Out of filigree or paisley I say filigree!!! I got it a few weeks ago and am CRAZY about it!!!

Thank you to all who posted. I've decided to go with Paisley right now, but I've also decided I can't live without Filigree or Just Jeans! My next BG stamp will be Filigree, then after that will be Just Jeans.

So maybe I shouldn't be thanking you all, because I was going to get one before I started this thread!
