Default Favorite Masculine Color Combo?

Hi -- I'm making a birthday card for my 24 year old male cousin -- can anyone suggest a cool color combo?

I'm thinking about using a candle stamp and the saying (which I've used before and adapted from a card I found on SCS) -- "Can you handle . . . one more candle?"

TIA!

in the Brights - I like Brilliant Blue, Yo Yo Yellow and Only Orange. You can also mix and match Glorious Green or Green Galore into the mix

for a more subdued card, I like black, real red and going gray

I've been hooked on garden green and night of navy lately, especially with vanilla or Kraft accents.

Default Favorite Masculine Color Combo

Well, I made a V-Day card for my DH and he said "hey, a masculine card, I love it!". I used bliss blue and choc chip.

Night of Navy, Cream, Baroque Burg.

Night of Navy, Kraft, Baroque Burg.

Night of Navy, More Mustard, Really Rust

I've used those and DH likes them all!

My husband likes the color combo of Creamy Caramel, Really Rust and Not Quite Navy.

I like the idea of Chocolate Chip and Bliss Blue - going to try that for an upcoming swap I am doing. Thanks for the idea.

Great thread! I've just fallen in love with Not Quite Navy and Really Rust - very rich looking together. Linda

I really like using one of the blues/navy colors with one of the rust/browns...

i.e.

creamy caramel with not quite navy
night of navy with really rust
bordering blue with confetti and chocolate chip
mustard withnight of navy, etc....

Thanks to everyone who gave me such great suggestions for color combos. Thought you might like to see the finished product! I ended up using creamy caramel, night of navy, and baroque burgandy. I copied down the suggestions and plan on trying them ALL!

Thanks again, and here's my card (which ended up entirely different than I had planned, but, hey, that's the fun of stamping!):
