Default Faux Postage Technique?

Hi, can anyone tell me how to do the Faux Postage technique? I've seen some amazing cards posted, and would love to know how it's done!

There is a great tutorial under the resources section. Before I had chance to make the acetate template, I made some cards by cutting strips of post it notes and laid them on the paper to get the "white space"

HTH,
Heather

I didn't have any acetate here but used the pattern and cut it out and applied clear packaging tape to it. Makes an inexpensive pattern and works fine.

My sister in law is a demo and she said that the new eyelet kit has a template in it for this technique and some others as well.

If you do not have acetate (window sheet), use a sheet protector (the kind you put in a notebook). You can use this to make the template as it's described in the resources/techniques section of this site. That's what I used!
