Default Everyday Flexible Phrases??

I, like many others, am mailing in my demo application (hobby only) today. My question is for my free stamp set Everyday Flexible Phrases seems like the best choice since it is so expensive...but do you guys use this set a lot? I usually just use MS Word to do my phrases if I don't have a stamp with the right sentiment. That way I can make it any size or font. I just don't want to pass it over and then kick myself later for not making the right choice. Thanks for any advice. Crystal

I don't have it and I have never found myself wanting it either. I feel like I can use my alpha stamps and spell anything I want, in a lot of different fonts. But I know there are a lot of people out there that love the set...

I LOVE that set. It is very useful. But, I find myself forgetting the words that are in that set. I need a system that will help me to organize them so I can remember what words are in the set.

I do! In fact, I *bought* the set in August, just after the new catalog came out. It just about killed me to spend that much on one set, but I love it.

One thing about being a demo is that the cards you make also need to be made by other people. What they see and use, they'll buy. If you bring phrases printed out on a computer, it won't help your sales. By using the stamps and our ink pads, they also match other elements on your cards or projects.

My EFP set sits on my stamping desk because everytime I put it away, I seem to get it right back out again. It's just the right touch for so many cards...

If you get it and decide you don't want it, I'm sure it would be easy enough to trade for another set.

I copied the stickers, the wrote below each word the other word on that block. Not perfect, but better than nothing.

Sorry...I should have clarified that I will be a hobby demo only, so this will be for my personal use - not workshops.

I just recently bought this set and I love it! I seem to pull it out for most of the cards I make. I'ts great if you don't have enough room for a greeting and just want something small.

I find it easier to stamp the words than to print it out on the computer.

Also it's great for small phrases on scrapbook pages.

Default EFP to buy or not to buy???

Definately get this set! Nothing is easier than having the words you need right there ready to be stamped in any ink color. There are so many great uses for this set.

Somewhere on this site there is a list of combos you can make with all the words. It is very long, but an excellent resource.

It may take a little more time for this set to show its true value. . . it's not the "sexiest" new word set (I'd vote for Wonderful Words for that), but I'm banking on EFP, and I'm hoping SU! keeps turning out sequels with more words! Another thread on SCS suggests possible additional words.

The only thing I don't like about EFP is being provided with only one block for every two words.

I don't have it yet but I will be ordering it in Feb. to help get my free sab sets. I started as a hobby demo but have found that people like my cards and now have a stampers ten club. You never know it could turn out diffrent for you.

I too just sent in my paperwork and I chose EFP and the thing that sold me is that someone mentioned using it on ribbon with StazON, that was just too cool to pass up!! Then I saw how they used it in the SAB catalog and my decision was confirmed!!!!
Oh, and one more thing, check this out and then you will HAVE to have it!!

I have this set. I have yet to sell one. I think it scares people and the fact that someone scrubbed one of my words off at a workshop didn't help either. Now I just use it for me. It's a great set, especially if you scrapbook. I printed off the list that was posted on this site on how to match the words up on each block for mounting, I taped this list to the inside of the case so that I could find the word I was looking for.

It is someone who signs up to be a demo with out the intention of actually selling to others - being a nondemo demo
So you can get all the great discouts & signup kits -
Lots of stampers seem to be doing this

I was also going to ask, has anyone used the word stamps on ribbon or twill tape ? does it look nice? That seems to be my reasoning for wanting to order it...not sure if I'd use it otherwise...

Default I pledge allegience to Everyday Flexible Phrases!

I didn't like All Year Cheer when I signed up as a demo, so I didn't buy it. The different fonts and everything just weren't me. When the new catty came out, I immediately fell in love with Everyday Flexible Phrases. It is my word set of choice! While it doesn't have every little "saying" that I might like I've decided (right this second! LOL) that it doesn't have to. I have started using it more and more as a simple, yet elegant, touch on my cards. It's absolutely perfect for that extra little touch to a card.
I advocate it - PLUS it is the most expensive stamp set in the catty. A girl can't pass up getting that for free!

Here is what I have done with the set:

You gals are really making it hard not to sign up as a demo for SU! I have a wonderful demo right now (she's the one who shared this site with me -Thanks again Linda!) She's taking a break for a while and didn't want us to go into withdrawal  . I haven't signed up because I enjoy her demos Now what to do

I think you have to use Stazon to stamp on the ribbon, I have tried black ink and it bleeds.
