Question Envelopes - Dumbest Question of the Day Award!

Okay.....I should know this but I don't. I'm doing a Stamp-A-Stack the week after Christmas that is all Thank You cards. I want to make them the 4 1/4 square size. Where, oh where can I find envelopes for them? If I can't find them, my customers sure won't be able to. Can't find anything that isn't an inch too big (in both directions) in the SU catalogue. HELP! (see, I TOLD you this was a dumb question!) Thanks in advance.

Mostly I've seen people use standard A2 envies for 4 1/4 inch cards. Somewhere on her blog, Julie HRR has an idea for embellishing the envelopes. I'll go look for the link.

Ok, here it is. I think this is such a clever idea! I have promised myself that I will try it. :-)

Sorry to get in the middle of your conversation. If you send square envelopes in the mail they cost an extra 12 cents.

Try www.clearenvelopesonline.com. They have every size you can think of. Actually, this is the size my daughter used for her 'Save the Date' wedding announcements, and they did cost .53 to mail. The B44M size is 4 11/16 X 4 5/8 ", and you can just fold the flap over a little farther to make it fit perfectly. Hope this helps!

another option is: take a square slightly bigger than the card and 4 circles with diameter of the side of your square. Fold the circles in half and glue one to each edge of the square. (Sorry, I don't have a sample right now)- but put the card in and fold the other halves of the circles over the card.

I get a lot of my envelopes from www.actionenvelope.com. They have square envelopes, but the smallest is a 5 x 5. They have them in white and also some cool colors. I use them alot and haven't been disappointed - the company, not the square envelopes. Good luck.
