Default Edges of my wheels too inky!

Does anyone else have this problem? When I'm using my wheels, I end up getting smudges of ink that come from the edges of my wheels - any ideas??

I have Christmas cards to make with my new jumbo wheels!

I had that happen to me when I was rolling my christmas cards. I found that if I pressed my index finger in the middle of the back of the handle while I was rolling it kept the pressure in the center and not out on the edges. Try doing that to see if it works for you. But do it on scratch paper first .

My jumbo wheel cartridge just glopped all over the wheel at my demo last week. It was new, I had only used it once just to make sure my project turned out the way I pictured it. Most of the people had already done their project with it, and the hostess looked at me and asked if it was supposed to do that. Thankfully she said it softly, without drawing a lot of attention to it. There was so much ink on it, I had to pull it out and rinse it off in the sink b/c it would have totally saturated my scrub pad. No wonder some of the people had the little lines along the edge! I told her later that maybe it was just overinked before it was sent to me, and thanks very much for not pointing it out to everyone! I left the cover off for the rest of the demo, so it could dry out a little, but I haven't tried using it since to see if it still makes such a mess.
