Default Dull Scissors

Anyone know the best way to sharpen the SU Craft & Rubber scissors? Mine seem to be getting dull, especially near the tip.
Thanks!
Debbie

Don't quote me but I think I heard where you just cut some aluminum foil with them and that sharpens them.

Here is a link for a guy who sells the same kind (just not branded). He says that if you sind him your scissors and $5, he'll sharpen them for you...

I take mine to a professional grinder. I got his name from a local beauty salon. They take their scissors to him.

Hmmm...I like the idea of a home remedy. Maybe I'll try the aluminum foil and see how that works. I'd be afraid to send my scissors away...what would I do without them???
Thanks for the tips,
Debbie

I dulled a pair of my paper snips (cutting tiny paint stains from carpet) and was trilled to find that a cheep 'Friskers' sharpener worked great. I got it a long time ago at JoAnn's.

Our local fabric store has a guy that comes in once a month and will sharpen them.

I tried the aluminum foil method and it worked like a charm! Thanks for the tip.
