Default Duck Tape Question

I know that several of you have posted about how you love Duck Tape. I just came from Wal-Mart and they had Duck double stick tape on a roll like scotch tape. Says acid free, permanent 1/2 inch and the packaging is green and yellow. Is this what everyone raves about or do they make a dispenser type also and if so, is it different? I thought I remember someone saying they were around $4 each and these were less than $2 so it's probably not the right stuff but I bought some anyway!!

I just bought some at Walmart the other day. I got the red "Easy.Stick". It says it is permanent and acid free. It's in a dispenser that you touch to the cs and roll it across and it lays down the tape. I found it in the office supply section. I don't know if this is what they were talking about.

It is in a red dispenser and comes 4 to a box for $8. I have trouble with my cards falling apart when I use this adhesive. My entire stamp club uses it and no one else seems to have problems. It is such a great, cheaper alternative if it works for you.

I think the trick is to really press it hard to the card and also to immediately attach the layer and not let the air dry it out. I used to have some fall apart until I made sure I did both of those things and cards no longer fall apart at all. In fact, I think it is the most permanent of anything I have used. Thankfully, my Walmart did not discontinue it and I stocked up just in case they did!

I can not find the red dispenser adhesive at our local Wal-Mart. I am planning to purchase a box directly from the supplier. If anyone is interested, please let me know. I can get you costs once I know how many are interested.
Thanks,

Yes, get the stuff in the red dispenser. I made the mistake of getting the duck stuff that comes in a regular tape dispenser. Everything fell apart. I love the Easy stick permanent adhesive from duck, though, and purchased a case direct from the distributer. LOVE IT!!
