Default Does your canvas background cover an A2 card?

I'll start by saying that I LOVE the canvas background stamp

BUT

according to the mini it's "approx 4 1/2 x 5 3/4 (large enough to cover a standard-sized card)"

there's no way mine will cover a whole card front :(

Did I get a bum stamp or are they all this way?

As a non-demo should I contact SU and how?

Thanks!

I borrwed my sister's and we have the EXACT same complaint. It was very noticable because I was doing Valentine's day cards. Black ink on white. It was too short. DId not cover the entire front of the card??? What gives?

I just measured -- my canvas image (not the block but the image itself) measures exactly 4-1/2 x 5-1/2 inches... so it more than fits a standard A2 sized card (4-1/4 x 5-1/2).

HTH,
Betsy

I don't have the canvas stamp yet but I have heard others discussing the size as well.
It sound like it is being used more on your second or third layer to be sure it covers the whole area.
Maybe if you search around the forums you can find the other discussions...

I just trim that little strip. It doesn't affect my design, try that

Default background stamps

Yes, I have the same problem with the canvas stamp. And my stipple plaid stamp is also not quite big enough. I usually just trim the card a bit, but I sure wish they would have made them just a hair bigger.

I got the canvas background stamp in my last order. I made my Valentine's Day cards with it and it covered the whole card. I had to be really careful lining it up or one end wouldn't be stamped.

Default canvas

There has been mention of this within the demo forum. I have let SU know that I am experiencing this problem with two of the background stamps that I received in my last order. I have not yet heard back from Demo Support since I sent them an e-mail last week so I plan to call them today and will post what I find out.

I just finished speaking with a rep through SU demo support. They are having me send in the stamps for review. So, once this process takes place, I'll post what the outcome ends up being.
