I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about her. Does she have a new website? Does she not stamp anymore? (That would be a crime  )I loved to visit her website and look at all her gorgeous samples but she hasn't updated her page since very early this year. For those of you who don't know of her, she is a very talented stamper and has even been a featured artist in The Rubber Stamper. Her website is www.stampinkristie.com if you would like to check it out. I miss her artistry and was hoping someone had some information for me.
Kristie has an e-mail area on her web site. Maybe you should try it and let her know that your concerned about her whereabouts. I'm sure she would be flattered, I know I would be !
Amy, I have seen her recent work in Lori Lynn's gallery! So, I am pretty sure she is still stamping! Kim McNutt has much of her work in her gallery too. Do a search for nuttnhoney.net, I think to get to Kim's gallery, then go to Kim's other gallery links, Lori's gallery is under Lori Pinkham. I think that you should email her through her own gallery to see if she will respond. Good luck! I, too, have long admired her artwork, she is terrific!
Kristie used to be a moderator on one of my groups and I noticed she had dropped. I got curious about this right around Convention because I remember her meeting with our group last year. I asked the website owner of the group and she said that Kristie had chosen to go "offline". She decided to devote her time to her family and her church--can't blame her there! Apparently she had written a letter to our group but I missed it. Therefore, I am lacking all the details but I think this is the basics. It is my understanding that she did NOT give up stamping--whew! That was a fabulous suggestion from Stefanie to email her.
Last I heard she was backing off of being online because she had taken on a big position at her church and needed to focus on that. I sure miss her. She's an awesome artist and a very sweet person. :(
Kristie was my local demo. I loved her techniques. We lost touch when I had some family stuff come up and then I found she moved out of state. I hope she is still stamping. Her family is very beautiful and talented.
