I wish I was like Robyn or Erika...being disciplined about my spending...but then I AM buying more consumables and less stamps...mostly because there aren't as many sets on my wishlist...
I relate to what Julie, and mestamps, has said...before SCS I stamped more...but now I stamp BETTER!
Maybe I'll try what TruCarMa said...start through my sets and make 10 cards with each one, just so I can "justify" what I'm keeping...HMMM, that makes something like 1500 cards...I NEED MORE PAPER!....and ribbon, and eyelets, and adhesive....

Well, my discipline came more out of necessity than anything else. I didn't HAVE the money to spend.....though I would have found it from someplace else, at the expense of the rent or feeding my kids....hahahaha! But after a while, I figured that if I could go 3 months, then I could do 6 and then if i could do 6, then I could do 9 and it just kept going from there. It became habit after a while.

Probably not. But I don't spend extraordinate amounts, and the spending makes me happy too. I'm not doing this to "save money" on greeting cards. I do it because I like collecting and playing with craft supplies.
Hehe...I resemble that remark! Just don't tell my DH, K?

Well I'm a newbie stamper...but a LONG time scrapbook and altered arteeest so most of my money is wrapped up in tools and supplies for altered projects and scrapbooks.
That being said, I've still not finished baby albums for my two and four year olds, have over 2000 disney land and vacation photos waiting for some love and only a handful of cards!
LOL...so uh... I guess the answer is probably no. Does that bother me... NOPE!! Tee hee... just don't tell DH!!

Not even close! But I do use my art stuff more than I use most of the other stuff I've spent money on in my life. I go in using and buying spurts. Right now, it's buying.
