Question DMC Floss storage

I'm trying to get my room organized since my DH got me my paper racks (way cool by the way) I'm trying to find a good way to store these. I know you can by the little cards then you can put them on a ring. but I'm trying to find a way to put it on some kind of spool. I have all of the colors that match SU! including the retired ones (62 total I think). I thought about empty thread spools but I don't really want 62 of them. so somthing smaller perhaps?

Any good idea's?

Carey

Default DMC Floss storage

They have little white cards that you can wrap the floss around and plastic storage boxes in various sizes that you can store the cards in. That's how I always stored my floss when I did cross stitch.

What about Bobbins, the kind you use for sewing machines? They are small.

I thought about bobbins but I think that there is too much floss. Does that make sence? I will give it a try though just to see...

I have a Plano tackle box that my dad got me from walmart. I use the little paper to wrap the floss around and number them. I cross stitch as well as use my threads for cards so I have quite a few. You can also find the little trays to purchase separately if you don't have enough to fill the tackle box.
