Is a customer eligible for a hostess set if they spend $150 or more? ($150 - Set #1, and so on) Just curious... I am figuring my order to be more than that but I can't host for a while b/c a new baby is on the way. Just curious at how you handle this (if a demo) or, if not a demo, what you have received for a larger order.
As long as it's your own thing, not somebody's workshop or stamp camp, sure, a $150 order qualifies as a hostess order with all the benefits. If you were at somebody else's party, then no, she's the hostess and would get the benefits.
Yes, but make sure you tell your demo that you want to put it in as a workshop. Some demos keep those benefites for themselves. I always tell the customer if there order is $150 or more, it counts as a party but some don't. And, of course, if it's an order at someone else's workshop, you can't get benefits because there already is a hostess.
Yeah for you! Free stuff!

I agree, ask your demo because it's not automatic. After all, the purpose of host benefits isn't to reward large orders, it's to reward hosts for having a party, thereby introducing more people to stamping & helping demos meet potential new customers. However, I think many demos are willing to do it (as long as you weren't a customer at somebody else's workshop when you placed the order).
Thanks for the feedback to my question. No, I'm not attending someone else's party, just probably placing a larger order and I am a good customer. As I mentioned, now is not a good time for me to be hosting with my priorities in other areas, but I don't want to wait to "play" with some of the new stamps! Maybe in the fall I will be a hostess...but no guarantees at this point in time.
