The only exception is stamps that i have lovingly used many times or something I KNOW i would never use in a million years. I think I need to drag out my scissors one day!
I've done this too! I have purchased the MS scoreboard twice. Gave the first one away when I got a Scor Pal. But I missed the 1/8" increments so I bought another. Then I found the Scor Pal in 1/8" increments so I bought it! I have two guillotine cutters. Three trimmers....you get the picture. I only had two or three pair of edged scissors and got rid of those when I started buying punches and dies.

I was just thinking that only a couple nestibilities fit my printed sentiments... It is so obvious, yet it never occurred to me to use my wheel of scissors to cut these out.

I'll have to fiddle with them to see if I can figure out how to get nice corners from them. I think success comes from matching the pattern repeat on the scissors. Now I'll have to get my Geek on and start measuring and marking the repeats and test it out.

And it did dawn on me that I can cut a straight edge on the card front with these scissors. I don't have to match up corners then.

Wavejumper, because of your post, I decided to use my decorative scissors. Of course, I have gone to dies but it was fun to get out those scissors. I have a full tub of them I bought years ago at Hobby Lobby. Thanks for inspiring me and reminding me I still have them.
When I posted my card, I couldn't remember who started this thread.

I gave all of mine to my neice because I could not cut a straight line with them and sometimes the paper would rip. I decided it wasn't worth the irritation. I love dies!!

Benzi,
Did your corners just happen to come out this well by chance, or do you have a tip for success on how to get nice corners from your scissors? I noticed the number of pattern repeats were nicely done.
