Question Days-To-Remember Calendar sequence??

Is it me or is there no rhyme or reason to the "page flipping" when you follow the layout template instructions on this calendar? I guess I assumed when you got it together you would flip both pages frontward, or one up, one back - some sort of pattern to changing the months & photo pages. I'm not seeing one.... is this correct?

The directions say to flip the calendar page backwards and then turn the whole calendar around. So if you have the Jan layout on the left side and the calendar on the right, you would leave the layout where it is and flip the calendar page back. Then when you turn the whole calendar around, the Feb layout will be on the left and the calendar on the right.

Now, when my SIL was visiting last summer, she wondered what the point of doing it that way was. Why can't you just flip both pages back, and then at the end of 6 months turn the whole calendar around and start over? I had no answer......lol. Does anybody know?
