Default CTMH ?

I got an invitation today to attend a CTMH party! I have never been to a CTMH party or any stamping party before. What should I expect? What do I NEEEEED to buy? Is there anywhere online I can go to see what's available to purchase? Are the new Halloween/Christmas stamps available?

As you can tell, I'm excited but I need to have a bit of a game plan before going or I know I will be so overwhelmed that I'll purchase just a pack of eyelets! LOL!!

You "need" to buy the acrylic blocks starter kit and my all time favorite set from them is the Precious Alphabet. These are some other must haves to either add to your order or wish list ;)

Blue Jeans
Antique Tags(you emboss these and they look like real hardware)
Because of You
Ritzy Ribbon
Bottle Caps

thats all I can think of off hand w/o getting the catty out. Have fun they have GREAT products! Their paper packs are wonderful great price and quality!

I am a CTMH consultant... You can browse the entire catalog online at my website: www.annecase.myctmh.com Then you can make yourself a wish list, and check the products out for yourself at the party! My personal faves are our scrapbook kits, papers, and Dimensional Elements. Oh, and the acrylix alphabets are a MUST have! ;-)

CTMH is one of the few places you can get white core cardstock, it' so cool to tear and sand Plus I agree w/ the alphabet sets, they rock!

I have just started getting into CTMH. My good friend is a consultant and she is always showing me new ideas. The white core cardstock is great. And I do love the acrylic stamps.

I love the stamps but didn't want to spend so much on the blocks. So I bought my blocks at ac moore with a coupon and then I had more money to spend on stamps. I agree their alphabets are really nice and affordable too.

I prefer CTMH acrylic blocks over any of the others I have seen. They have the groove on the side like SU blocks to make them easier to hold plus there is a line grooved into the bottom of each to make it easier to align your letters to spell out a word. I have not seen any other acrylic blocks with these two things.

I got an invitation today to attend a CTMH party! I have never been to a CTMH party or any stamping party before. What should I expect?

Well, hopefully you get to do a make and take card that shows the papers and how to use the stamps and accesories - every demo is different but, that is for sure one of the things that I do

What do I NEEEEED to buy?

That depends om your tastes and if you are a scrapbooker or a card maker. Our scrapbook kits are excellent and run between $8.95 - $12.50, depending on which Level you go with. You might like some of the stamps and such

Is there anywhere online I can go to see what's available to purchase?

You can go to any consultant website and see what is available, keep in mind that you may see something on the websites that is not available at the show

Are the new Halloween/Christmas stamps available?

The new catalog will come out on September 1, and then the new halloween and Christmas items will be available

As you can tell, I'm excited but I need to have a bit of a game plan before going or I know I will be so overwhelmed that I'll purchase just a pack of eyelets!

If you get overwhelmed and want it all or a lot you can always book your own show with the demo

I hope that helps

Kate

I just heard last night from my consultant that CTMH is coming out with textured white core cardstock, and get this... it will also be two toned, one side will be lighter color of the opposite side How great is that! It will be available in the Fall catalog! ;)

Default Thanks for the info!

I will probably get one of the alphabet stamp sets since I'm always needing that and of course an acrylic block. That will at least get me in the door with a plan so anything else is just "fun" spending! LOL!!

Have a great time! I'm an SU demo, so don't go to a ton of CTMH parties, but when I do, it's SO HARD not to go to town on the papers and scrap kits! They have some really cute ones, lol. And the little embellishment stacks are adorable, too....just something about itty bitty colored safety pins that I find adorable, lol!

Anyway, have fun! Get a catalog to bring home for later browsing...that way you won't feel like you have to buy it all in one sitting.

I've not been to a CTMH party...don't know of anyone in my area that demos it. Creative Memories and TAC and SU...but no one does CTMH for some reason. I liked their large color pallette but never knew about their other offerings. Lately I am hearing a lot about the white core card stock.
I'm a hobby SU demo but would enjoy checking out a catty just to see what is available sometime. It is fun to see what else is out there. ;)

I LOVE the CTMH alphabet sets. So nice to be able to create any saying/names on one block and to be able to see where you are stamping it. PLUS...if you are making sets of personalized cards, it is so nice to only have to "arrange" the letters once on the block and be able to stamp repeatedly Have fun!
